Over the past 35 years Rich Griendling has produced an impressive body of work. His site-specific, life-size sculptures immortalize human movement and feelings by capturing them in plaster and bronze. While each piece is kinetically engineered to appeal to our sense of awe, at the same time, each sculpture is reinforced to endure the environmental rigors and challenges of public art.

As your mind's eye moves across his broad portfolio of images, you can see that Griendling’s sculptures provide an understanding of our past and an appreciation for the natural grace, beauty and movement that surrounds our daily lives. His sculptures put a vision to our thoughts. They allow us to linger over important details of life we sometimes miss with a quick glance. They broaden human experience and elongate our sense of self. Each sculpture is an original design, unique in concept and execution and sensitive to regional culture and customs. Griendling carefully interviews and listens to clients to understand the culture and environment of the space the sculpture is to unify, reflect and embody.

If you’re looking for definitive, site-specific sculpture works to complement architectural features, emphasize your organization’s mission and personalize your environment, contact us at our studio in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. We look forward to hearing from you.
